This is a Classic Staunton wooden Chess Set with German Knights and made from the finest grained Pure Boxwood the Ebonized wood. The Chess pieces are felted with thick Green Billiard Cloth pads to protect the board. The king stands 3" tall with a base diameter of 1 1/4". The pawns have a base diameter of 7/8". Total weight of the pieces is approximately 300 grams. This is one of the hottest selling item retails for $44.95. A nice wooden set with a traditional Classic Staunton design which has been ever popular and favorite among chess players.
