Here are two very detailed die cast Corgi GPO Post Office Telephones delivery trucks manufactured by Corgi in 1989. One is a Morris Minor Van. The other is an AEC Cabover Van. These models have been long out of production and only 5,000 were manufactured - ever - worldwide! These models come with an authenticity certificate of no. 0476 out of 5,000. These items are in MINT condition in their box and were sold as a single unit. The details are exquisite for this item manufactured in England for Corgi. The interior is even detailed! Has rubber tires and detailed hubs and includes a spare tire beneath the AEC Cabover Van. Believe that the scale on these models are 1:43, but this is not mentioned on the box. There are no brochures with this item, just the authenticity certificate. As a matter of fact, the quality appears to better than many older vintage Corgi models. Comes with certificate and original box - all excellent quality.
This is an original issue item and came out when Corgi issued a series of scale model British telephones in 1989! This is also an extremely high quality and very rare Corgi item from the modern era.
The box does mention that these items were manufactured in England.
Dimensions of this item (box) are: about 7 and 11/16 inches in width, 8 and 1/2 inches tall and 2 and 1/16 inches thick.
This item is intended to be sold to adult collectors of collectible die cast and should not be purchased for small children.
