This is an auction for a 1:1250 scale metal waterline model of the German tanker "Winnetou" (built 1913, 400' long) depicted as she appeared in 1940. The manufacturer is Rhenania, catalog number RSKM 13. The model is a little under 4 inches long.
This model is in perfect condition, I'd describe it as mint or excellent, with no obvious missing pieces or bent masts. There is no dust accumulation whatsoever, as it was only displayed under glass. Please note that the model does not come in the original box. Instead, it is securely packed in a sturdy cardboard box, affixed with double-sided tape and thread, and will be sealed in a second box with ample cushioning at the conclusion of the auction.
