I can't tell you exactly when I bought this...but it is about 15 years ago at a flea market. I owned, drove and collected Bug stuff for a long time. This has been sitting in my stuff since I bought it.
It's marked Tonka with a number - 52680 - on the bottom.
All the wheels work. Nothing opens. Inside is white plastic. Outside is metal and kinda heavy for it's size.
It is what it is and needs to find a home that appreciates the VW era. I'm guessing by the tail lights that this was a 1960's bug with the thin, low bumper and small tail lights.
