These 6 twin 12.7CM/40 cal barrels, cast in lead free metal, are rejects of the open mounts, that I have up for auction, in that the recoil tubes and or the elevating gear did not cast properly. The barrels are bored 0.025" and may need some dressing with a drill to open up. The barrels are useful in that they are in perfectly good condition and therefore can be used in the type A-1-3 closed gun turret in place of the Nichimo kit items. The barrels fit the slots in the closed turret so the recoil tubes cannot be seen and they are a perfect match for the guns in the open 12.7CM mounts near it that I have up for auction. In order to dress up the closed gun turret I used Strip Corrugation part number 401 N scale which I purchased from Builders in Scale, Aurora, CO and used this as the gun slot moving screen in the gun slots and the gun trainers section. You might be able to make it out in the photo.The barrels fit into the kit gun carriages with no problem.
